Among the world's most illustrious charities, Kollel Shomrei Hachomos of Reb Meir Baal Haness was established in 1852 by disciples of the saintly Chasam Sofer zt"l. With a total annual budget of over $13 million, the Kollel today is essentially a conglomerate of more than 20 different charity organizations that operate out of a single institutional framework.

Serving as the virtual lifeline for thousands of impoverished families in Israel, the Kollel provides financial relief and resources for every lifecycle event. Widows and orphans, Talmud Torah children, yeshiva bochurim, and more depend on the generous donations of their brothers and sisters from across the sea. 100% of our efforts go toward providing basic necessities for their needs: from putting food on the table to shoes on their feet. Every dollar you donate is deeply appreciated by our beneficiaries.

Donating to the charity of Reb Meir Baal Haness is a time-honored tradition in Klal Yisroel, handed down from parent to child.

This tradition continues today with the very same reverence as it did in the shtetls of Europe, over 160 years ago.
